Little Miss Sunshine

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in San Diego! My folks and I copped a squat in our backyard - enjoying the sunshine and each other. And since our doggies were getting groomed, it was an unusually peaceful and quiet day. I hope that where ever you were on Saturday, your day was as lovely as mine.

Sitting Like a Big Girl

My folks can't believe how quickly I am growing up. They say I'm changing a little bit every day. This past week I started sitting on my very own during playtime - just like a big girl. Now my hands are free to reach for all kinds of new stuff to put into my mouth. It's so cool! I also started pushing myself backwards while on my belly, and rocking back and forth on my knees - which means I'll probably be crawling in no time. They won't admit it, but I think my folks fear my inevitable mobility. Watch out world, here I come!

Teeth, the Flu and a Brand New Do

I conquered a few milestones recently. I got my first haircut on Sunday (goodbye comb over)! I kinda miss the donald trump look, but my people tell me it will grow back. I also cut my two bottom teeth, which you can kinda see in these new pictures. I also had my first bout of the stomach flu, which was no fun. Mama, me, Grandma D, then Papa - we all got it, in that order. But 8 days and 40 loads of laundry later, we are all doing much, much better. Oh, and I celebrated my 7th month of life on the outside yesterday. How time flies when you're hanging out in the exersaucer and pooping your pants.

Bed Head

Here's me before Mama pulled me outta my cage this morning. I've got some crazy bed head. I guess my hair is celebrating because today I'm exactly 6 months old. Cool huh?

My Ride

I love my exersaucer! I hang out in it every morning while Mama has her coffee and checks her email. Can you see what the humidifier does to my hair???

No More Swaddling!

This was my last night sleeping w/ the miracle blanket. It kept me snug and cozy (code for restrained) for more than five months. Now I sleep for 10 or more hours a night without being swaddled.

Gettin My Eat On

I waited 5+ months for rice cereal? This stuff blows. But now I'm getting pears and apples and sweet potatoes, which I find quite yummy.

Jonas' Party

This is me rollin with my homies - Lorraine, Papa and Marie. We were celebrating Jonas Pfefferman's first birthday.

Babes on Wheels

Me and my babes on wheels cohorts in December. Watch out USC - you're looking at the freshman class of 2024. Fight on!

Nana's Visit

Here's my Nana Meredythe. She lives in Seattle. We celebrated my first Turkey Day together.

The Vanderpool's

Grandma Epe and Grandpa Dale made a trip down from Eugene last November just to meet little ole' me. They were the first ever to babysit me. Mama and Papa went to a sportsbar to watch the USC game, but it was blocked in the San Diego market - AGAIN. Fox Sports Net sucks, just like Fox News.

Trick or Treat...

...Smell My Feet. Or me and Yoda will bust a cap in yo ass. I soooo rocked the Princess Leia costume.

Z Family Tree

My Grandpa Z came down to visit me from Portland last October. He wanted a magic papasan swing like I have, but for big people.

British Rock Star or Pat Benatar?

I've been mistaken for both. Yes, that's a lot of hair on my melon.

Me and the Old Lady

That red eye flash thing gives me the bug eyes, big time. But Mama and Papa think it's cute.

My Grandma's

In these pics I'm chillin' in the rocker with my Grandma Z and Grandma D. I love them both very much.

My Peeps

Here are some pictures of me and my peeps during my first week home. The first picture is of me with my Aunt Akiko and family friend Adriana. I was pretty grumpy that day. I screamed and cried and made "boom boom" while sitting on Aunt Akiko's lap. The second picture is of me with my buddies Taylor and Drew Mauzy.

Hello World!

Here I am during my second day of life. Little did my folks know that this was the last time I'd sleep peacefully for the next three months.
